Here is the best argument against mass immigration: a new report at Breitbart News shows that congressional districts that have large, foreign-born populations voted in large numbers to send hardcore, left-wing candidates to Congress.
What this shows is that these people come here from left-wing countries and bring their un-American, left-wing ideals right along with them. It also shows that they are coming here and still acting like foreigners, not coming here, inculcating our ideals, and integrating into our system.
This situation is exactly the worry that true nationalists have voiced. I am not talking about “white nationalists,” here, but real nationalists, those who prize our American system and ideals over foreign ones. When people move here and don’t become Americans, but only bring their un-American ideals and then try to force the rest of us to live under the very ideas that they ran away from, we have a breakdown in our system.
According to Breitbart: “The congressional districts sending some of the most liberal, far-left Democrats to Congress have large foreign-born populations that do not seem to be leveling off anytime soon as the U.S. continues admitting more than 1.5 million foreign nationals every year.”
for instance, Beitbart noted that the New York district that sent self-avowed socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to Congress is 45.8 percent foreign born!
Breitbart also noted the make-up of the district that sent a Somali immigrant to Congress in Minnesota is made up of foreign-born Muslims.
In Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, Ilhan Omar — a Somali immigrant — won with 78 percent of the vote in midterm elections despite her far-left radical record.
Omar’s district has become increasingly foreign-born with now almost 15 percent of the region being born outside of the U.S. As MPR News notes, more than 35 percent of the district is nonwhite and there are 22,000 more foreign-born residents living in the district since Rep. Keith Ellison — the first Muslim elected to Congress — was first elected in 2008.
In another case:
Democrat Ayanna Pressley won her spot in the new Congress after beating out her Democrat primary opponent Mike Capuano, a 10-term congressman, in Massachusetts’ 7th District.
The district has a foreign-born population that now exceeds 30 percent of the total district. The region is also one of the most hard-left districts in the U.S.
Breitbart has a few more examples, but you get the idea.
A similar thing is seen here in the U.S. when liberal states begin pushing far left policies that destroys jobs and drives up taxes causing citizens to flee to red states. But then these foolish new citizens begin voting for the same left-wing ideas in their new home states that destroyed the states they came from.
And we can blame all this on our fetid schools that don’t teach the American way of life to children.
